For the past few weeks It has been raining a lot here in Oregon, well, until it snowed. Earlier this week I went out looking for something to make a photograph of that featured water for a project I'm working on, more on that project later. I came across this flooded grove of Hazelnut trees that screamed to be photographed. The high water conditions turned this agricultural scene into something more abstract, something more painterly, it's kind of a weird image that is starting to grow on me.
