I got the first zine I have ever made in the mail today and I am very pleased how well it printed. The title is Seeing Monochrome and this edition is a black and white study of trees. My plan is to print these zines under the name of Seeing Monochrome, with each edition a new theme. I'm looking at these as possible sections to a future coffee table book, under the same name. Printing the zine lets me see my work in print in a less formal way, test out ideas, and it makes my photography more accessible in print to a wider audience.
If you would like to see this first edition of Seeing Monochrome, you can preview it at Blurb for free at this link. www.blurb.com/b/9330659-seeing-monochrome-trees Check it out and let me know what you think. If you have any questions on on how a specific image was made, let me know in the comments and I will do my best to answer them.

This Tuesday's Photo, filbert trees in high water, is similar to last week's photo, Its all about the reflections. With the high water, the scene is transformed into something more abstract and visually playful.
